Royal Delft Proud Mary Wild flowers Polychrome

The Royal Delft Proud Mary collection is expanding with a polychrome Proud Mary: Proud Mary Wild Flower! We welcome this colorful new member with open arms.

Proud Mary is a design by Koens & Middelkoop. The collection consists of large, hand-painted shapes and smaller versions decorated with screen printing. This unique collection has grown considerably in recent years, and now a colorful Proud Mary decorated with the screen printing technique is also available for sale.

A piece of Delft Blue history

In the 1960s, Royal Delft acquired the Westraven tile factory. A remarkable discovery was recently made in the archives: sketches and transfer sheets of six beautiful, different floral designs by Westraven. The sketches date from 1930, and the transfer sheets from the 1970s. These sketches and transfer sheets served as inspiration for Proud Mary's skirt.
