The Royal Delft Proud Mary Astonia Gold is a ceramic figurine from the screen-print series of the Proud Mary collection — one of three new Marys in the transfer series. The name Proud Mary refers to Mary II, wife of William III and one of the greatest collectors of Delft Blue in the Golden Age. Royal Delft developed the collection from the desire to give this heritage a contemporary form, and the Astonia Gold is a striking example of this.

The figurine consists of four separate parts — skirt, body, collar, and head — connected by a porcelain pin. This not only makes it beautiful to look at, but also playful to use: those who own multiple Proud Marys can exchange the parts and create their own combinations. The Astonia Gold is 17 cm high and executed in the characteristic blue and white of Royal Delft.
