Did you know that beach tennis was invented as early as 1945 by architect Lian Pontes de Carvalho, who gave the racket game the appealing name "Frescobol?" The idea was a Brazilian equivalent of tennis, but without the competition. Instead of striving to win at all costs, this game is all about teamwork. There are no winners or losers; the only goal is to keep the ball in the air as long as possible. To breathe new life into this historic spirit, Printworks has designed this aesthetically pleasing set for hours of fun.
