Moooi x Royal Delft Egg Vase XL white porcelain vase 28 cm

The Moooi x Royal Delft Egg Vase XL is a handmade white porcelain vase, 28 cm tall, that makes a design classic larger and more artisanal. The shape comes from Marcel Wanders, co-founder of Moooi. He filled rubber casings with boiled eggs and used them as the basis for the mold. This created a vase that looks like a soft, undulating stack of eggs.

Royal Delft created this XL version for Moooi's 25th anniversary. Each vase is cast and finished by hand in the Royal Delft studio in Delft. As a result, no two Egg Vase XLs are exactly alike. The glossy white glaze beautifully highlights the play of light and shadow on its curves.

A white design vase like this requires little. With a few branches, a single bunch of tulips, or simply empty on a sideboard or windowsill, it is already an eye-catcher. Thanks to its neutral white color, the Egg Vase XL suits a sleek interior just as well as a warm, rustic one.

The Moooi x Royal Delft Egg Vase XL is also a gift with a story. Think of a housewarming, an anniversary, or a Christmas gift for someone who loves Dutch Design. Marcel Wanders' design and Delft craftsmanship make it a piece that will last for years.
