Frederik Roije Framed Feeder designer bird feeder corten steel

The Frederik Roijé Framed Feeder is a designer bird feeder made of Corten steel that turns your garden into a living painting. Designer Frederik Roijé was inspired by the way painters capture nature in a frame. The result is a steel frame on a pole, in which birds continuously complete the picture.

On all sides of the frame are laser-cut leaves that you can fold open by hand. You can attach twigs, suet balls, or other bird feed to them. In the center is a porcelain dish for water or seeds. This allows you to compose the arrangement yourself and change it with the seasons.

The Corten steel is delivered untreated. After the first rainfall, a warm layer of rust forms, blending beautifully with greenery, gravel, and wood. The Framed Feeder is made in the Netherlands and is easy to assemble. You can place the 195 cm metal pole in a flower bed or on the lawn, exactly where you can best observe the birds.

A Corten steel bird feeder is a gift that lasts all year round. Especially in autumn and winter, supplemental feeding helps birds get through the cold months, while you can watch them up close. This makes the Frederik Roijé Framed Feeder an original Christmas or birthday gift for anyone with a garden and an eye for design.

Does a Corten steel bird feeder rust through?
No, Corten steel forms a rust layer on the outside that protects the steel from further rusting. As a result, the Framed Feeder can remain outside all year round.
