Royal Delft Proud Mary 09 Astonia Gold

These beautiful figurines are named after Mary II, the wife of William III and a great lover and collector of Delftware during the Dutch Golden Age. The Proud Mary collection by Royal Delft arose from the desire to give the iconic Delftware, in production since 1653, a contemporary look and feel with a nod to the 17th century. Of course, the name after one of the greatest collectors of the Dutch Golden Age is no coincidence. My goal is to develop it into a contemporary collector's item, a modern icon of Royal Delft's Delftware. These Proud Mary figurines are part of the screen print collection and are all 17 cm high. Each figurine consists of four parts: the skirt, body, collar, and head. If you own multiple figurines, you can also exchange parts. A porcelain pin attaches the head to the figurine. This Astonia Gold is one of three new Mary figurines in the transfer series.
