Royal Delft Proud Mary 08 View of Delft

These beautiful statues are named after Mary II, the wife of William III and a great lover and collector of Delftware in the Golden Age. The Proud Mary collection by Royal Delft arose from the desire to give the iconic Delftware, in production since 1653, a contemporary look and feel with a nod to the 17th century. Of course, the name after one of the greatest collectors of the Golden Age is no coincidence. My wish is to develop into a contemporary collector's item, a modern icon of Royal Delft's Delftware. These Proud Mary statues are part of the screen print collection and are all 17 cm high. Each statue consists of four parts: the skirt, body, collar, and head. If you own multiple statues, you can also exchange parts. A porcelain pin attaches to the head, connecting the whole. This View of Delft is one of three new Mary statues in the transfer series.
